Stories from rescue/shelters
There are so many incredible stories of puppies being rescued from shelters and given a second chance at life. For this Puppy Sunday, we’re highlighting some of those stories in hopes of inspiring others to adopt!
Rufus was rescued from a local shelter just in time – he was set to be euthanized the next day due to overcrowding. But thanks to the amazing staff at the shelter and a loving foster family, Rufus is now thriving and has even found his forever home!
Bentley was born with a deformity that caused his legs to bend backwards. He was surrendered to a shelter by his previous owner, but thanks to the power of social media, he was quickly adopted by a family who loves him unconditionally. Bentley is now living his best life as an ambassador for rescue dogs everywhere!
Ginger was found as a stray on the streets of Los Angeles. She was taken in by a local rescue, who helped her get healthy and then placed her in an amazing forever home. Ginger’s story is proof that there’s no such thing as an “unadoptable” dog – every pup deserves a chance at a happy life!

One particularly heartwarming story is that of Lulu, a three-month-old corgi mix who was rescued from a South Korean meat farm. She was lucky enough to be adopted by a family in the United States and is now living her best life with her new siblings.
Another amazing story is that of Mia, a one-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier who was rescued from an abusive home. She was terrified of people when she first arrived at the shelter, but thanks to the love and patience of her carers, she has now flourished and found her forever home.

There are so many puppies that need homes! Here are some of the puppies that are currently up for adoption or fostering through various organizations.

2. Say hello to Beasley! This adorable 8-week-old Lab mix is currently being fostered through Paw Placement in Tucson, Arizona. 3. This is Boomer! He’s a 3-month-old Golden Retriever mix who is currently up for adoption at the Humane Society of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Hey, everyone!
We hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another week! We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for this week’s blog posts, but we wanted to take a quick break to let you all know about some upcoming events and announcements.
First up, we have Puppy Sunday! This week’s photos will be all about puppies, so if you’re looking for your daily dose of cuteness, make sure to check back on the blog.
We also have a few events coming up that we wanted to let you all know about. First up is our annual Howl-O-Ween party! This year it will be held on October 31st from 6pm-8pm at the Dog House. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and enjoy some fun games, prizes, and of course, lots of treats!
Next is our holiday photos event! This year it will be held on November 15th from 11am-1pm at the Dog House. Bring your camera and snap some holiday photos with your furry friends! We’ll have props and backgrounds available to make your photos extra festive.

First up, our popular puppy socialization class is back this Saturday! If you’re looking to socialize your puppy in a safe and fun environment, this is the class for you. Our experienced trainers will help your puppy learn how to interact with other dogs and people, and you’ll get plenty of tips on how to continue their socialization at home. The class is $20 per pup, and pre-registration is required.
We also have a special event coming up next month – our annual Puppy Prom! This year’s theme is “Puppies in Space,” so come dressed in your best outer space-themed outfit (puppy or human!) for a night of intergalactic fun. There will be music, dancing, games, food, and of course – lots of puppies! The Puppy Prom is free for all attendees, but donations to our rescue organization are always welcome.
